Wash Me

Summertime is a time for fun. School is out and you can play outside all day. But before bedtime, you have to take a bath. That’s because after a full day of fun and games, you can get pretty dirty. A nice warm bath washes all the dirt away and leaves you feeling clean and refreshed.

When we were born, there was dirt in out hearts This dirt is called "sin". We had no way to wash sin out of our hearts.

So God sent Jesus to pay the price for our sins. Now God can clean our hearts and get rid of our sin. When God looks at us, He sees us cleaned by the blood of Christ.

If you want God to clean your heart, just ask Him to forgive your sins. He will always say "yes". He knows that Jesus suffered and died for those sins. That’s why He will always forgive them.

Prayer: Lord, we don’t want to have sin in us. We want to be clean. We were born in sin, and we need you to wash us. Then give us peace knowing that we are forgiven. In Jesus Name. Amen.
