What We Believe

Statement of Faith

We are not a denomination. We are children of God that practice the Word of God independently of any other denominational dictates or demands. Gospel Warriors Ministries Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) Non-profit organization.

We believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God, and it alone is profitable for doctrine, reproof. correction and instruction in righteousness.  Furthermore, the Word of God is our contact with God and His contact with us.

We believe the Word of God imparts to us Eternal Life, recreates us, renews our minds, dwells in us, produces its own kind of fruit, builds us up, establishes us in righteousness, heals us.

We believe that growth in the Word of God results from acting on the Word of God and cannot be experienced by any other means.

We believe the evidence of a spirit filled life to be the Fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). Fruit production requires a relationship with God, a purposeful pursuit of the Word of God, and utilization of the Word in one's life.

We believe that God forgives a sinner who sincerely repents.  His sins are cast away never to be mentioned again.  This is made possible by the redemptive work of Jesus Christ.  Man's righteousness cannot be based on anything he does, but solely on the redemptive work of Jesus Christ.

We believe a person is saved by confessing with his mouth the Lord Jesus, and believing with his heart that God has raised Him from the dead. If a man asks God for the Holy Spirit, God will give it to him (Luke 11:13).  This is based on faith in the Word of God and not sense manifestations.

We believe the Word of God must be rightly divided, and that no one scripture is a basis for the establishment of a doctrine without its proper association with the entire Word of God. The Word is balanced and leads to a balanced life. The nature of the Word is to give life, therefore, it is impossible to use it to destroy, cause unbelief, fear or guilt.

We believe in divine healing as well as divine health. We believe in miracles, however, miracles are not a test of spirituality). Neither should one's spirituality be measured on the basis of miracles, or any outward show of faith or power. In the absence or miracles, the Word of God is instant in season.

We believe in demons. Jesus Christ has conquered demons for us. We, through the power of the Holy Spirit, the Word of God, and the Name or Jesus have authority over demons and all the works of the darkness including sin, sickness, poverty, and disease.

We believe Salvation means deliverance in every area or our life. Jesus did not redeem us from sin only, but from every place that spiritual death (Satan's nature) touched. We believe where sin abounded, grace much more abounds. \Whom the Son sets free is free indeed.

FINANCIAL STATEMENT

1. The Gospel Warriors Ministries belong to God. It was founded by Edmund Brown, but Edmund and Lindia Brown do not own it. The work done through the Gospel Warriors Ministries are to the glory of God, it's true founder and leader. Anything owned by the GWM belong to the God and not to me. The GWM has its own identity, goals, and personality. As President and founder, I am accountable to God, and to all those who are ministered to through this ministry.  My wife and I are not working for pay, nor do we seek to build our egos, a legacy, a personal interest foundation, or any such thing. We are fellow servants working for the Kingdom of God.

3. We believe that if God helps people through this ministry, then He will move those people to support us. We may have in place ways in which individuals may contribute (i.e. Tithing, Partners), however, we will not scratch and claw for contributions, or use manipulative, disrespectful or dishonorable means to raise funds or meet obligations. If God does not send us the support we need, this work will end.

4. We believe that an organization's handling of its finances is directly related to its integrity in other areas of life. Prosperity test integrity more so than adversity does. We have set limitations in the way we solicit contributions and in the way we use our funds. The basic guidelines we use are as follows:

· We ask that people support us only after they have met their obligations to their local church home. We feel the local church is a very important institution in the development of the Body of Christ.

· We will not operate this ministry from a deficit.  We believe that as we pursue God' will, that He will supply our need without the pressure of financial woes.

· We have devoted our available time and energy to this ministry. God has approved this work, therefore, our success is according to His measure and our obedience to Him. If God closes the door on this work, we will yield to His leading. Until then, we will work.

· We consider all contributions we receive as money sent by loving people in good faith. Because they have made a sacrifice for us, our obligation is to handle that money conservatively and wisely. We do not own any limousines, condos, airplanes, nor has the ministry built any additions to the homes of any person working in this ministry. All of the contributions into this ministry are used to support the purpose for which God called us.

5. We give letters of receipt for contributions. If you purchase anything from this ministry, we will send an acknowledgment letting you know the fair market value and the tax deductible part of your gift. The Internal Revenue Service of the U.S. allows donors to deduct the amount they contribute to the Gospel Warriors Ministries, or the amount in excess of the fair market value of any material made available by this ministry.

6. We will utilize funds in ministering the Word to our contributors. We will not raise more than we need, intend to use, or simply to glory in money.

7. My wife, Lindia and I support this ministry in tithing and giving. We are not compensated for writing books or articles, nor are our personal interest tied to ministry resources.

8. We will not sell or rent our mailing list to anyone who may be interested in soliciting to our supporters. We maintain tight security on those on our mailing list, and on those who have contributed to us in the past.

9. In conclusion, Jesus Christ is the Author and Finisher of our Faith. He ordained and blessed this ministry. It belongs entirely to Him.
