You Are Risen With Christ

The pressures of life have a way of weighing us down. Troubles and trials can bear down on us, and just like any other weight that you carry, after a while it wears us out. Before we know it, our body is worn out, and so is our patience.

Before we give up, remember that Jesus Christ was raised from the dead. He defeated the enemy and came out of hell with all power. And when Jesus came out, we came out with Him. His victory then is our victory now. You see, Jesus didn’t defeat Satan just to prove that He could; He did it for us. We weren’t there physically, but we were there "In Him".

Don’t listen to the devil’s lies when he says that you aren’t going to get your answer or that there is no way out of your dilemma. Jesus was raised up, and He is sitting on the right hand of the Father. There is no higher position anywhere else in the universe. Do you know what He’s doing there? He is interceding for us; assuring that we will get what we maintain victory in every area of our lives.

Jesus loves us so much, and He delights in answering our prayers. Keep the images of Jesus rising from the dead in your mind. The enemy absolutely hates to think about it. That was the worse day of his life.

We need to meditate on that truth until it is imbedded in our heart so deeply that nothing Satan says or does will get it out. When he sees that we cannot be moved from this truth, he knows that his days of frustrating us are over.

We have total victory because we have been raised with Christ. But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the first fruits of them that slept. For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive 1 Corinthians 15: 20-22.
