Positive Thoughts, Positive Talk
If we think positive thoughts, more than likely we will talk positive. All around us, there is so much negative talking. Everyday and all day, we are drenched with so much pessimism that even as Christians, it’s difficult not to take it in. God wants His people to talk positive. He wants us to say what His Word says about us, no matter what we see or hear. The Word of God is all positive from front to back, and that is what we should be thinking, saying and acting on. We know that God loves us. There’s nothing negative about that. We just need to let it possess our thoughts and say it when it seems like nobody cares. Our names are written in the Lamb Book of Life. So say it when you feel lonely and isolated. The blessings of the Lord makes us rich (Proverbs 10:22), therefore we have nothing to be sad and despondent about. These kind of positive words will help get us through the day, and when we get home from work or school, start all over again. Tell your children that God has a plan for their lives. I’ve been telling mine those words for years, and I believe that one day, they will see it for themselves. Tell your husband that no weapon formed against him will prosper. Every day, our husbands are dealing with all kinds of hassles. They don’t need to come home to negative words. Tell yourself that Jesus sits on the throne of your life. If we keep our mind on the Word day in and day out, the devil cannot make us think or say negative things. Each day is a new opportunity for us to change our way of thinking and talking. It’s never too late to improve on what we have been saying. You will begin to see things working out for your good, and your prayers and confessions coming to pass. Your life will be full of the presence of God, and you will be living in heaven on this earth. And that’s a good thing. So go ahead, be positive and watch things change in your life.
