In
Search of Peace
Have you ever heard the saying, "when it rain it pours?" That’s
another way of saying the bad just keeps on getting worse.
Well, sometimes life is like that. Just when you are about to overcome one
problem, here comes another; then another and another. It looks as if there is
no end to the problems we face. If you don’t have any problems, just hold on a
while. They are sure to find you. But you can have peace right in the midst of
every problem that comes your way. We will always face circumstances that will
tempt us to fear and doubt. But we don’t have to give us the peace of God.
Peace means calm or quiet, free from disturbance. The Lord wants us to live
in His peace while the storms in our lives are still raging. Isaiah 26; 3 say’s,
"Thou will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on thee."
In every thing that you go through, trust God for your peace. God want us to
seek after peace and ensue it. If we seek after it, we will find it I Christ.
Any other place that promises to give us peace will always turn up shallow and
empty.
The peace of God will take you though any trial or storm. God loves His
people very much. He wants what is best for us. He does not want us disturbed
and anxious when we are not sure about the outcomes of events in our life. He
wants us to trust Him.
That is why He sent His Son Jesus to take away the mental torment and give
His peace to us. (PRAISE GOD!) Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto
you John 14:27. God has given us peace. We need to receive that peace and
walk in it. We are all praying for the Unites States, therefore we are not going
to walk in fear. We must walk in peace in this time of crisis. We want to be a
help to those that are hurting and have no hope. John 16: 33 say’s in me
you might have peace.
Let us enter into the peace that God has given to us. It is the only way to
have rest in the time of struggle. We have peace with God through our Lord
and Savior Jesus Christ Romans 5: 1.
