Love Will Make A Way

It's tough reaching people for Jesus Christ these days. The Word of God hasn't changed, but people sure have. Over the past few decades, there has been a steady decline of morality within our society. The human heart has become hard and obdurate to traditional Christian values.

The average hit movie glamorizes sex and violence. Daytime television packs lust, adultery and deceit into convenient thirty-minute episodes while talk show host fills the mind of our nation with gossip and immoral trash. Cartoons pedal violence to our kids and make their hero a thief, a ghost, or some mind reading mutant. Our teens watch countless commercials, which create in them the desire to be beautiful and cool while locking them into a value system that will never ever satisfy them.

Where is the Church in these trying times? Where are the New Creatures, the Children of God, the fiery one's commissioned to be a beacon of light to a lost dark world?

For the most part, they are asleep. Too few churches are really making a difference. They are contented to simply fill the order of their denomination, and retreat into the warm womb of traditionalism and worthlessness. They have long lost the true wonder of the God of their redemption.

I don't care what the voice of the world says; I'm here to tell you what God says. If it means developing new strategies, then we will have to do it. There is no way we can believe that we have the love of God in us, and not respond to people with love's ability. When mankind was guilty and condemned, a hopeless case, love found a way to redeem them. Love humbled himself even unto death on the cross (See Philippians 2:8).

If we are to make a difference in the lives of people, we've got to deal with every dimension of that person. For some individuals, family life is a big problem. Husbands need to discover their role as the spiritual leader in their homes, and wives need to learn the power of true biblical submission. Not only that, but teenagers face a world of stress and crisis. Many of them are being murdered or killing themselves, while others are making decisions that will bring ruin and sorrow to their lives. Our children need our support and protection like never before.

I believe that many people would take heed to the Word of God if we were wise in pour approach. People are hurting; there's no doubt about it. They need healing and relief from pain. The Word of God has it, "they that be whole need not a physician" Matthew 9:12.

I want you to know that God is interested in your problems. You may never attend a church or give us a penny, yet our purpose for being proves that love will find a way. It finds a way to help the lost and hurting, it finds a way to minister to the youth, and it finds a way to mend broken hearts and dysfunctional homes. Love never dies or grows old, and it never quits.

If you are a Christian and need help in understanding Christian principles, we can assist you. If you are struggling with marital disharmony and other aspects of family living, our messages may help you. If you are a teenager trying to find yourself, we can help you through the GSP HookUp. Despite the nastiness of these times, God is preparing a "Ministry of Integrity", and it's working hard to get into position to meet your needs. Love is making a way.
