There are two spiritual powers at work in our lives. The first is the power of God, and the second is the power of the devil. The degree to which we allow these powers to operate in our lives depends on how violent we are willing to become.

Why is this so? Because winners win decide to become so. A true warrior, or any soldier for that matter, knows that success comes as a result of endless hours of training and retraining. They are also aware that victory, however sweet it may be, is often preceded by some very difficult times.

To win means making a decision. A believer must first decide to study the Word, allow it to become a part of them (their nature), and move forcefully (act) on it. Simply stated, winning means we become more violent.

Violence or acts of violence do not occur overnight. If we study the minds of the world’s worst serial killers, we discover that from childhood these individuals possessed a violent nature. As the individual grew, so did this nature. In time it became something that they could not control. Whether they took their rage out on the neighbor’s cat or a man on the street, this violent nature took complete control. Who suspected that Little Johnny would kill again and again.

Why did this happen. Because Johnny had a violent nature that went out of control. It is this nature that drove him to do the unimaginable.

My friends, God wants, in fact, He encourages us to adopt this same nature when dealing with the adversary. While God does not condone or encourage the negative use of violence, He requires us to remain firmly fixed in our beliefs concerning His Word and His Anointing to perform mightily in our lives.

Yes, the thief comes to destroy, but Jesus, in one violent act using Golgotha’s Hill as His stage, performed to the death. Just before the curtain fell, He took the victory from the grave, the sting out of death, and became righteousness for you and me.

This same Jesus withdrew from His account and gave us beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for our mourning, and a garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. As believers, we have the heart of a champion, the mind of a winner, and the spirit of a conqueror. This happens as a result of our relationship with Jesus Christ and obedience to the principles He has taught.

Since the adversary will stop at nothing to destroy us, a violent nature is our only recourse. We must kill every thought, idea and emotion daily. Maybe the devil is a worthy opponent, but we cannot allow this to pressure us into giving up. We must use force in dealing with the enemy.

Force is what drove Christ to the cross. By force we have victory over and over again. By declaring the RAMA (God’s Spoken Word), we defeat our opponent at every turn.

Why resort to violence and force? Because the kingdom; our children, grandchildren, schools, families, churches, government, and even this nation is suffering. How do we take a generation back? By force. Exercising God’s Word brings results.

Will the violence end? No. not as long as we have a devil loose on the streets. So we must take our generation back one person at a time; one word at a time. Peace!
