Slow Down!!

Many of our young ladies today are in a big hurry. They are trying to pin down a permanent mate before they finish high school. Obviously, they experience a great deal of frustration and disappointment.

You really need to slow down and trust God to send the right person into your life at the right time. As long as you are immature and inexperienced, you need to wait until you are ready to handle a serious relationship.

Listen, there are so many things you no have no control over. You cannot make a guy love you or control his response to you. If your happiness is directly related to your relationship with the opposite sex, you will be sad most of your time. In fact, no earthly relationship can provide you total satisfaction. Even when you find "Mr. Picture Perfect", there will be many things he cannot provide for you. Only Jesus Christ can give you "all" that you need. Do not let your heart be troubled, believe in God; trust also in me John 14:1.

If you life isn’t working out the way you plan, and you feel a lot of frustration and disappointment, take my advice and "slow down". As long as you are making choices based on impatience and emotions, you will always invite unhappiness into your life.

So pray to God, and confidently trust Him to work out His will in your life.
