In
God We Trust
There comes a time in our life when we must know beyond doubt that we have no
other help but God. Unplanned events can suddenly occur and we are left with no
choice but to trust God.
We must not wait until our back is up against the wall before we think about
trusting God. We need to practice trusting Him in our everyday life. Just
because we do not feel sick and all our bills are paid doesn’t mean we don’t
need God. We need Him every moment of every day. In good times as well as bad
times, we need to trust in God. Unfortunately, we call on God when we are in
trouble, and ignore Him when things are well. That’s a big mistake.
The Lord wants to help us. But we need to know that we need His help at all
times. God is the most important person in our lives. Proverbs 3:5,6 says,
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own
understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your path".
That means we should trust God at all times. No matter how simple the solution
is, we should talk to God about it. Many of the mistakes we make started out so
simple.
That is why we should always trust God. Talk to Him often. Fellowship with
Him every chance you get. Don’t rely on what you think or how you feel. Just
acknowledge Him in all we do, and He will lead us in the right path.
Start trusting God in the little things, then it won’t be so difficult to
trust Him the big things. So often we try to move a mountain even though our
faith has never really been proven. We need to slow down and take one step at a
time. Our day of proof will come for sure.
In order to trust someone, we have to get to know them. The more we know
about them, the more comfortable we are in trusting the words they speak. It is
the same way with God. We have to get in constant fellowship with Him, and allow
Him to speak to our heart. He will show us exactly what we need to do.
God wants us to prosper and be all that we can be. But we will have to trust
Him in everything we do. Trusting God is a bold way to live. Will you allow God
to direct your path today? Just trust Him, and you will see what He will do in
your life.
