God Will Take Care of Our Children

Well, it looks like our children are back in school again. Parents are happy because things at home are calmer and their children are growing and maturing. But many are sad and concerned, and they have good reasons to be. We have to face the real fact that school is no longer a safe place. There is no way to predict what's going to happen to our kids. They are exposed to so many confusing ideas, and they seem to become more rebellious as the years go by. School should be a joy, not a camp where you expect a shootout at any moment.

I just want to let you know that God is in control of our children. Don't let fearful thoughts enter your mind. Instead, let's believe together that God is going to take care of our children. He is well aware of our fears and concerns, and He sees everything our children are exposed to. Our trust in God's protection can make a world of difference.

God loves your seed just like He loves you. Isaiah 54:13 says, "And all thy children shall be taught of the Lord: and great shall be the peace of thy children." Not only do we need to learn not to fear; we need to teach the same thing to our children. After all, they are the ones out there facing the danger. We need to teach them that "No weapon formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgement thou shall condemn…" Teach them how to confess God's Word over their lives.

God is going to take care of our children, whether they are in school, out of school, on the ball field, on the basketball court, in the library, the cafeteria and everywhere they go. Let's believe every word the bible says concerning our children, for the seed of the righteous shall be blessed.

Our children will be blessed everywhere they go. Jesus said to suffer little children to come unto me and forbid them not, for such is the kingdom of heaven. We need to start out early teaching our children how valuable they are to God. Release the ministering angels over your children and plead the blood of Jesus over them. The power of God will protect them everywhere they go.

Our children do not have to walk around in fear. Teach them all about God's protection over them. Children should be taught Psalms 91; they should be able to quote it word for word. My kids knew Psalms 91 when they were four and five years old. They need to learn how to believe what it says. That way they will enjoy peace in their lives and so will you.

So many people would like to see prayer put back in the schools, but they have not yet put prayer in their homes. Prayer was taken out of the homes long before it was taken out of the schools. If we want prayer back in the schools, let's put it back in the home. I'm not talking about you getting on your knees at night and mumbling a little something to God. I mean praying with your children and teaching them how to pray for themselves. Yes, God will take care of our children, but we need to get serious about prayer in the home.

Are you willing to be a part of your child's spiritual life as well as their natural life? Then let's get busy training them in the way they should go.
