God Loves You

This world is a bad place. Bad things happen all the time. People are mean to each other and hurt one another for no good reason. There is also a lot of suffering going on. Hospitals are full of people dying from cancer or some other disease. They are good people, but they hurt all the time and will never get better.

With all the bad stuff, it is a struggle to understand where God is. In fact, this confuses some people so much, they get angry and refuse to serve God. But don’t let this happen to you. No matter what is going in your life, believe that God loves you.

Love is the greatest power in the universe. When people are hurting, they need somebody to show them love. It is more important for people to know that God loves them than to know why this bad thing is happening. Only the love of God can take a bad situation and work them for our good.

In my younger days, I felt invincible. I wanted to do my own thing. I wasn’t accountable to anyone. As my life began to unravel, I realized that I wasn’t as invincible as I had thought. In fact, I was a weak mortal person, lost and a victim of my own pride and lust. I knew I needed Christ in my life, and after a few years of running, I gave my heart to Jesus.

The world is the same place, but I am not the same person. I have a great Savior loving me every day. He is giving me new mercy each morning, and through His grace I can deal with whatever is going on. Jesus made the difference.

God loves you, and that love can take you beyond anything that you can imagine. Let His love change you today.
