Lord Fix Me Where I Am

The devil is always accusing somebody of something. He does it so often that God went on and gave him the title of "accuser" (see Revelations 12:10). But no matter how the adversary points his finger in condemnation and judgment, God is right there to fix us where we are.

We may as well get ready, because we will always be in a fight with the devil. He has already been defeated, but he continues to try and deceive and frustrate as many saints as possible. He wants us to give up. But Jesus has already defeated him for us. We need to use God’s Word to drive Satan out of our life.

God can work for us when we speak the Word. We have to know the Word and speak it boldly. We cannot be carried away by every wind and doctrine that comes along. We are blessed to be a blessing.

When we come together in church, we come to praise and worship our God. During this special time everybody should be in the presence of God. This will give God’s Spirit the liberty to remove burdens and sickness from our midst.

But too often we are thinking about some lie the devil has whispered in our ear. We are thinking about something that isn’t right.

We need to let God fix us where we are. If we have a bad habit, let God fix it. If we have an illness, a financial need, a lingering stress or whatever, God can fix us. But we have to listen to God’s Word instead of the devil.

We have to remember that Satan once worshipped God. In fact, he worshipped God on the highest order until pride brought him down. So he feels an intense need to keep us out of the presence of God. He senses how awesome it is when blood washed saints stand before the presence of Almighty God. So he is always trying to keep us out.

So don’t listen to the devil; he is the father of all lies. Hold on to the Word of God, and let God fix you where you are.
