Fear Not

Do you find yourself in fear all the time? Always afraid your bills won’t get paid, or that you won’t have enough money to buy gifts for birthdays or Christmas. Well, God wants us to pray about those things and not fear them.

Whenever you feel the grip of fear, it definitely did not come from God. God doesn’t use fear and it doesn’t have any root in Him. Fear has torment, which comes to hinder and prevent you from going forward, and receiving the best God has for you.

The Word of God will always give you the power to overcome fear. Every step toward the Word is a step forward; a progressive pursuit to possess the eternal unchanging promises of God.

Confess the Word of God concerning your fears. Do Not Fear. Do not receive fear into your heart or make any decision because of fear. When you go on an interview for a job, believe the Word of God to give you favor with that employer. Believe that God will make Him like you. Ask God to pave the way for you and allow your faith to give you that "glow" of confidence. The Lord will not fail you or forsake you.

Do not run from fear, or try to passively escape it. You have to boldly confront fear before it goes anywhere. Let fear know that it cannot rule or dominate you, or cause you to flee from it. According to Joyce Meyers, fear means False Evidence Appearing Real. That’s a very good description of deception nature of fear.

God is always encouraging us to "fear not". Do what God tells you to do even if you have to do it afraid.

Do not talk about, meditate on or magnify your problems. Keep you eyes on God. In Psalms 27:1, David said, "The Lord is my light and my salvation: whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?" The obvious answer is nobody.

If we believe that God is for us, why should we be afraid? He loves us and will protect us. Therefore, fear should not rule over us. Trust God. Faith in God is the only cure for fear. You cannot have real power without faith.

I want to encourage you to stand on the Word of God and drive fear out of your life for good. Then you will never have to live in fear again. Never.
