No Need To Fear"For I am the Lord, you God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you…" Isaiah 41:13. The first time I rode on an airplane, the sound of the engine was very loud. As the plane lifted off the ground, I felt a little afraid. I closed my eyes and said a prayer, and I was all right. As the plane gets higher and higher in the air, things on the ground look smaller and smaller. Pretty soon you can no longer tell what is what. After a while all you can see are white clouds. Clouds are prettier than they are on the ground. While flying through the clouds, I soon forgot about ground. That reminds me of God’s love. When I think about how much God loves me, then the things going on around me become less important. We can count on God to keep loving us no matter what. There will always be things that happen to remind us that we are on this earth. It may be a schoolmate that makes fun of us or a bad thing that happens in our family. But we can always count on God to be with us, and when God is with us, we have no need to fear. God never stops loving us, whether the sky is cloudy or clear. He doesn’t have to get above the clouds to remember how special we are. And that is something we can always feel good about. Prayer: Dear Father. Sometimes we lose sight of You, but you never lose sight of us. Thank you for loving us and for taking care of us. In Jesus Name. Amen. |
