Easy To Find

Have you ever played a word search game? It’s a puzzle where letters of the alphabet are assembled on lots of rows and columns. Then you are given a list of words that are hidden somewhere in the puzzle. Once you find all the words, then you win.

Some of the puzzles are very easy, but some of them take up whole pages and you really have to search to solve them. It’s frustrating to have to search and search for something. Sometimes you want to just give up and say, "It’s not worth it".

God is not like a word search puzzle. We never have to hunt for Him. We can see Him in the pages of the bible. He showed His Son Jesus Christ to the whole world. For three years, He walked this earth. When the time came, He died on a cross for our sins. He sacrificed Himself to free us from the curse of sin.

God’s love for us is no secret. All through the bible He shows how much He loves us. He doesn’t want us to become frustrated trying to hunt for Him and thinking that we can’t find Him. He wants us to simply open our heart and let Him in.

Many things in this world are difficult to understand. But God’s love is no puzzle. He freely gives us His love and grace through Jesus Christ.
