Dreams Do Come TrueHas God put a dream or a desire in your heart? Has He birthed within you something that you know deep within you must possess? You think about it throughout your daily life, and no matter how things come and go, you are left to wonder whether or not this dream will ever come to pass. Well, the answer to that question is a resounding "yes." No matter how impossible the dream may seem to you, if God spoke it into your heart, it can come to pass. But you must have faith and patience, and keep seeking God until the manifestation comes. For God will surely bring to pass everything that he has promised you. Do you recall the dream that Joseph had? God gave him that dream. At the time he dreamed it, he wasn’t ready to walk in it. But after many years and much tribulation, the dream came to pass just as God said. Abraham was promised a son. He did everything he could to assist God in making His Word come too pass. When he got too old to have children, God visited Abraham and told him to get ready for the arrival of his son. And if we ever doubt whether or not God keeps His promises, just remember the time a hundred year old man and a ninety-year-old woman had a little baby boy. God promised us a savior. It took many generations, but in due time that Savior came. And His birth, death and resurrection changed the eternal destiny of all of mankind. All the promises of God are "yea" and "amen". So no matter how long it takes or how cloudy the circumstances, don’t get discouraged. Hold on to that dream with all that is within you. Trust God; praise Him, and fellowship regularly with Him. Keep your eyes on every Word of God that supports your dream. Meditating on the Word will keep the dream fresh and renewed in your heart. It will be as real as when God first spoke it to you. Thank God in advance for bringing our dream into the here and now. Hold on to it with all your mind and strength, and before you realize it, your dream will come to pass. You will be living it to the glory of God. By: Lindia Brown |
