Have you ever taken time out and thought about how blessed we are? If we were to look on the 28th chapter of the book of Deuteronomy, it would tell us how wonderfully blessed we really are. We should read those words over and over again so that we would never forget what our God desires of us.

We are blessed in the city and in the field. Whether at work or relaxed at home, we need to think about how blessed we are. Sometimes when I pray, I forget all about the things that I am asking God to do for me. Instead of asking Him for something, I tell him how grateful I am for all of the things that He has and is doing for me. My heart gets so full of joy, until I forget what it was I was asking for. That’s when I realize that He has given me everything in Christ Jesus.

Since the day I accepted Jesus as Lord of my life, I have been tremendously blessed. God has made me the head and ruler of the affairs of my life. He has brought me further than I ever could have imagined, and His grace continues to manifest in my entire family.

Did you know that when you gave your life to Christ, you became Abraham’s seed and heirs according to the promise that God made to him (Abraham)? That means that by faith, everything that God promised Abraham is yours also. Now that’s a blessing.

God wants us to come into the fullness of the blessing of the gospel of Jesus Christ. You see, my whole family is blessed. We are heirs and so are they. My kids are blessed. They will find favor with God and with man. Our ministry is blessed to be a blessing. Everyone that receives and reads these newsletters are blessed. There are blessings all around us. If we just take your eyes off of your problem for a while and look at how blessed we are, we will start feeling better. Looking at the problem only causes worry and stress. We cannot change anything anyway. Our problems cannot change how blessed we are.

God has giving us countless spiritual blessings. Ephesians 1:3 says, " Blessed be the God and father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ". If you are in Christ than you are blessed. Not only am I blessed, but also I seek ways to be a blessing to someone else. Don’t take the entire blessing for yourself. Learn to give some of them away. We can really understand how what it means to be blessed as we bless others.

The next time the devil tries to make you fell down and worthless, think about how blessed you are. That’s an easy way to make the devil mad. Start thanking and praising God for your blessing. Pray and ask God who can I be a blessing to today. Seek ways to bless other people. Then you will see the mighty favor God has given you.
