Aggressive Females

When I was a teen, it was the sole responsibility of the guy to seek a girl. He would call her and make the arrangements to see her on date night. If and when they went out, he paid for everything.

But things are different today. Now females are the aggressive ones. They pursue guys like a carnivore. When they meet a new guy, they overwhelm them; calling them all day and making unreasonable demands for commitment.

Women have a desire to be desired. God made them that way. Genesis 3:16 says, "Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you." There is actually nothing wrong with desire; but if it’s taken out of God’s design, it can be quite harmful.

Women were not made to be aggressive. They were made to be outgoing, enthusiastic and mysterious. It’s not wrong to want a boyfriend or husband, but it’s unhealthy to allow that desire to consume you.

The main beneficiaries are the guys. They enjoy it. Since men are sexual creatures anyway, they are more than willing to cooperate with physical activity. And statistics show that the rate of Christian and non-Christian sexual activity is similar.

The bible says that we are tempted when we are led away of our own lust and enticed. This should be a warning to both male and female. The flesh desires to consume us all. The only way to overcome the flesh is to walk in the Spirit. And that means putting on the whole armor each and every day.
